Drinq is a wellness and education app. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
The protocols, checkpoints, supplement suggestions, hydration targets and AI responses in this app are general educational information based on common fasting practice. They are not personalised medical instructions, and they are not reviewed by a physician for your individual situation.
Talk to a doctor first
Extended water fasting changes blood pressure, blood sugar, electrolyte balance and the way many medications behave in your body. Speak to a physician before starting any fast longer than 24 hours, and before changing the dose or timing of any medication. Never stop or adjust prescribed medication because of something you read in this app.
Do not fast if any of these apply to you
You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
You have type 1 diabetes, or type 2 diabetes treated with insulin or sulfonylureas
You have or have had an eating disorder, or a difficult relationship with restriction
You are underweight (BMI under 18.5) or have unexplained weight loss
You have kidney, liver or heart disease, or a history of cardiac arrhythmia
You are recovering from surgery, illness or injury
You take medication that must be taken with food, or that affects blood pressure, blood sugar, fluid balance or electrolytes
If you are unsure whether something on this list applies to you, treat it as a reason to ask a doctor before you start.
Emergencies
Drinq cannot detect a medical emergency and cannot contact anyone on your behalf. If you feel seriously unwell, break your fast and contact your local emergency services or a physician immediately.
AI-generated content
Parts of Drinq, including chat answers and some protocol or checkpoint content, may be generated with artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, and it does not know your medical history, medication or lab values. Always apply your own judgement and a physician's advice before acting on anything the app produces.
No guaranteed results
Before-and-after style comparisons in onboarding are motivational illustrations labelled as potential views or goals. They are not measurements, predictions or promises about your body.
Summary and dashboard stage insights explain general fasting concepts and your progress through the plan. They do not report personal biological readings, laboratory results, diagnoses, or detected changes in your body.
Example stories shown in the app are labeled composites inspired by common fasting situations. They do not represent verified individual outcomes and are not guarantees.
Supplements
Supplement suggestions are general educational information. Supplements are not tested or approved as medicines for the purposes described here, they can interact with medication, and quality varies between manufacturers. Check with a pharmacist or physician before taking anything, and follow the dosage on the product label.
Your responsibility
You decide whether, when and how to fast. By using this app you accept that you do so at your own risk, and that the developers of the app are not responsible for outcomes resulting from your decisions.
