Terms of Use

End User Licence Agreement

Last updated: September 20, 2026

By using Drinq you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its content.

Not medical advice

The app provides general wellness and educational content only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care. See the Medical Disclaimer in Settings, which forms part of these terms.

Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Full access to Drinq requires an auto-renewing subscription. The subscription name, the length of each billing period, the price in your local currency and what the subscription includes are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm, together with links to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial.

You can cancel at any time in your store account: on iOS in Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions, on Android in the Play Store › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. You never need to contact us to cancel, and deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Apple and Google are the sellers of record for in-app purchases. We do not set or administer a refund policy: refund requests are made to Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com or to Google via https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637, and are decided by them under their policies.

For subscriptions purchased on iOS, Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to harm yourself or others, do not attempt to bypass usage limits or purchase checks, and do not use automated means to access our services. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service.

Right of withdrawal (EU / EEA consumers)

Purchases made inside the app are sold to you by Apple or Google as the seller of record, so your statutory withdrawal and cancellation rights are exercised through them and are governed by their consumer terms.

For digital content and services supplied immediately, EU law allows the 14-day withdrawal right to end once supply has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right. Whether that applies to your purchase, and how any withdrawal or refund is processed, is determined by Apple or Google at checkout, not by us. Nothing here removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices for future renewal periods. Where required, Apple or Google will notify you and ask for your consent before a renewal at a higher price; if you do not agree, the subscription ends at the end of the current period.

Advertising, affiliates and third-party links

The app may include links to third-party products, services, retailers or partners, and some of those links may be affiliate links that earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. A commission never changes the guidance the app gives you, and any sponsored or paid placement is labelled as such.

We do not sell, supply or take responsibility for third-party products, including supplements. Purchases from a third party are a contract between you and that third party, under their terms and their liability. We are not liable for third-party content, availability or conduct.

AI features and fair use

AI features are provided on a fair-use basis and may be rate limited. Content generated by AI is provided "as is": it can be inaccurate or incomplete, it is not professional advice, and you remain responsible for how you use it. Do not submit other people's personal data or sensitive information you do not want processed to the chat.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you submit and must not submit unlawful content.

Intellectual property

Drinq, its name, design, protocols, texts, images, videos and software are protected by intellectual property law and remain ours or our licensors'. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

Apple and Google

These terms are between you and us only, not with Apple or Google. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.

On iOS, your licence is limited to using the app on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including through Family Sharing where applicable.

Maintenance and support for the app is our responsibility alone. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support. If you need help, write to support@drinqai.app.

If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation. We are also responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.

Indemnity

You agree to hold us harmless from claims and costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of others, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and cancel your subscription in your store account. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms or abuse the service.

Availability and changes

The app relies on third-party services and may occasionally be unavailable or change. We may add, alter or remove features, and we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any harm arising from your decision to fast. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Severability and disputes

If a provision of these terms is found invalid, the remainder stays in force. If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. We are not obliged, and are generally not willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
